Woody Brook
Woody was born in the famous ski town Vail, Colorado, but while all his family and friends slid down the slopes, Woody was swept away by the magic of theatre, music and the visual arts. Reenacting moments from Disney films (playing every single character) was a favorite pastime… and still is. Now, Woody will be earning his BFA in Acting from Brigham Young University in April 2020, and he couldn’t be more excited to bring his love and passion for theater, film, television, dance and music to the Big Apple! Some favorite stage credits include: Merv (U/S Wayne) in the North American premier of Baz Luhrmann’s Strictly Ballroom, Charles in Thornton Wilder’s The Long Christmas Dinner, Buttons in Newsies, and the Bass Sailor in Anything Goes. He also thrived dancing in the ensembles of Cinderella (Dance Captain), An American in Paris, Tuck Everlasting, and Aida. If you ever want to see some flexible shoulder tricks (he can lick his elbow), share a Dr. Pepper (and a cookie), or play some volleyball (I’m an outside hitter with a mean block)-then Woody is your guy! He can’t wait to move out to New York City and get to work!
