Miranda Renee Smith

MRS Headshot.jpg

After years of blood, sweat, and hairspray, Miranda Renee Smith is thrilled to end her time at BYU performing at New York Showcase. Although her love for theatre began at nine years old as Icicle Sharpener #4 in a youth production of The Princess and the Pea, it has since evolved into a deep passion for dance and film acting in particular. Her favorite credits include Bonnie & Clyde (Blanche), White Christmas (Judy), Bright Star (Alice), and Joseph…Dreamcoat (Narrator). When Miranda is not on stage, you can find her working on her second passion- life coaching for struggling artists. Her dream life includes living in New York, performing the “Dancer/Understudy Jordan” track in The Great Gatsby, while helping as many artists as possible who wrestle with the same negative mindsets that she once did when trying to live the life she is living now. Big thanks to God, her parents, and the Jim Carrey Grinch movie that always could bring a smile to her face when the journey felt especially tough.
