From Denver, Colorado, Meg–also known as Megara, Meggy, Meggoo, or Emmie G–has been performing since she was three years old. She started out as a competitive dancer who loved to sing in choirs or just for fun, but soon realized her passion for acting and musical theatre once she hit high school. Since then, she has performed in numerous shows at BYU, as well as at Sundance Summer Theatre and Starlight Mountain Theatre. Some of her favorite roles include Sarah in Guys and Dolls, Cecily in The Importance of Being Earnest, and Kathryn in Radium Girls. Outside of theatre, Meg loves vintage clothes, sushi, sleeping, anything that will make her laugh, spending time with family and friends, and her 3-year-old pup, Alle. She is extremely grateful for the training and support she has received throughout her time at BYU and can’t wait to start this new chapter of her life.
