Mari Joy
Born and raised in Manila, Joy is a recent BFA Acting graduate. Her recent credits include Lark in the premiere of MESTIZA, or MIXED (Plan-B Theatre), Juror 12 in 12 Angry Jurors (BYU), and The Naif in Sleeping Giant (Salt Lake Acting Company). She has a passion for film and new play development, having acted in numerous indie film productions and play premieres. When she isn’t acting, you’ll find Joy singing, taking photos, eating Pho, and trying not to be a hopeless romantic. Her performances are largely dedicated to her sisters and other women of color who paved the way for her to be on stage. Maraming salamat.
