Malin Glade
Malin was born and raised in California, with time in both the Bay Area and Orange County. As a child, her charisma and creative mind led to starting multiple playground cults… now, she has redirected that energy into acting. She is a fresh graduate of BYU’s BFA Acting Program with a minor in sociology. Some of her recent stage credits include BYU’s Wait Until Dark as Susy, What The Blank Productions’ The Last Five Years as Cathy, No Square Theatre’s Cry-Baby: The Musical as Allison, HCTO’s Pride and Prejudice as Kitty Bennet, and BYU’s Pride and Prejudice as Mary Bennet (Utah really likes Jane Austen). This past winter, Malin performed with the Prague Shakespeare Company in Romeo and Juliet and adored her time in the Czech Republic studying under leading Shakespeare practitioners. In addition to her theatrical endeavors, Malin has extensive experience in voice-over, including radio dramas, audiobooks, and nonfiction academic content. She is popular among film students for her ability to cry and scream like the indie-protagonist-meets-final-girl she was destined to be, as well as for her training with The Strasberg Institute in LA. She loves to go on long walks while listening to audiobooks, riding horses, writing, and travel. She lives by the motto of her favorite novel, Station Eleven: “Survival is insufficient.”
