Kira Stone is a singer, actor, and composer/lyricist hailing from the San Francisco Bay Area. When she was 15, she wrote and recorded her first single, “Peter Pan”, which has over half a million plays on Spotify, plays on Sirius XM Radio (Channel 16, The Blend), and charted in the iTunes Top 50 when it debuted. Since then, Kira has attended Brigham Young University’s Musical Theater program and performed in roles such as Eve in Children of Eden and Sister Mary Robert in Sister Act. She also has created and written the music and lyrics for the musicals “The Light Rail”, “Carry Me”, and “Nova!”, that have received their Off-Broadway and New York debuts at the New York Musical Festival (where she also made her Off-Broadway debut playing the lead role of Lindsay) and 54 Below. Most importantly, she is married to her best friend Ben and has a beautiful 1-year old daughter named Scarlett. Besides her greatest loves of family, faith, and theater, Kira is a lifelong foodie, and has a very healthy relationship with Dr. Pepper that you don’t need to worry about at all. I promise. Don’t. Worry. Kira will receive her BFA in April of 2019, and will be moving to New York City with her husband and daughter.
