Kelsey was raised in Provo, Utah by parents who instilled in her a love of music and dance from the very start. For the past 16 years she has enjoyed playing the piano and the violin as well as composing comedic tunes on the ukulele in her spare time. She has been dancing around the house and in studios since she was three and eventually moved a whole mile away from home to pursue her BFA in Music Dance Theatre from BYU. She will be graduating this April. A highlight of Kelsey’s college career has been dance captaining the BYU Young Ambassadors for three years on tours to the Western United States, Brazil, Argentina, and China. Some of Kelsey’s other favorite credits include Amy in Company, Clara in Light in the Piazza, and Sarah in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. When she isn’t busy rehearsing, Kelsey enjoys baking, crocheting, math, and watching reruns of Jeopardy until she has all the answers memorized. She is grateful for the learning BYU has provided her and looks forward to what is yet to come.
