Born and raised in Kaysville Utah, Libby was the youngest in a family of five children devoted to sports and football, who also shared a love for musical theatre. She grew up singing with her dad as he played the guitar and piano, while her mom taught her to harmonize. Her first public performance was at the age of three in her local church service. After testing the waters in tennis and soccer, Libby found her true love in dance. Hours at the dance studio, combined with hours singing in school musicals resulted in a passion that turned into a way of life. Libby spent two years dancing with the national champion Cougarette Dance Team and studying in the Music Dance Theatre Program at Brigham Young University. Then she put school on hold, married her best friend Dallas, and moved to Palo Alto where he was completing a Masters program at Stanford University. She enjoyed living in a new state, appreciated the time alone with her husband, and valued the chance to develop her craft at many theaters in the Bay Area. Libby will complete her BFA in Music Dance Theatre from BYU this April, then will make the big move to New York City. She loves reading, choreographing, playing with her cat, fuzzy socks, and traveling. But she mostly loves Dallas; her adventure buddy and soul mate.
