Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Courtney Moreland has always been passionate about performing. Growing up, she participated in stage productions in the North Dallas area, was classically trained in piano, competed in acting tournaments, and dabbled in sports such as gymnastics and Irish dance. Courtney has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Acting from Brigham Young University, where she played multiple roles in the company of the KCACTF award-winning Radium Girls, as an improvisation member in The Glorious Story Emporium, and as Gertrude in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead. She has participated in several film productions in Utah and has developed a passion for film production and photography. In addition to her BFA, Courtney also received training at the American Conservatory Theatre’s Summer Training Congress. In recent years, she has become an avid runner and weightlifter and enjoys staying very active.
